One of the best RPG’s of the decade isn’t done being updated, as Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 has received a new patch today, August 3.
Given how Larian has already said that the RPG’s content and feature update released a year ago would be its last, don’t expect much from today’s Baldur’s Gate 3 update 1.096 download.
Read on for what to expect from BG3’s new title update.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Update 1.096 Released as the RPG Gets a Steep 30% Discount
As Baldur’s Gate 3 celebrates its third anniversary, the game is at a pretty big 30% discount on all platforms for this week! This means that regardless if you’re on PC (GOG, Steam) or consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S), you’ll be able to snag this award-winning RPG at a discounted rate.
For Xbox gamers, Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available on Xbox Play Anywhere! This is connected with today’s update, as Larian has released a patch on all platforms to “ensure cross-play continues working as it should.”
No other details were shared about the patch and if it includes other fixes, but so far, we haven’t spotted anything.
While there has been no official announcement of Baldur’s Gate 4, Larian confirmed they won’t be a part of it. But did you know that there was a partially playable build of Baldur’s Gate 4 made by Larian?
If we spot anything else about today’s update, we’ll have it added in the article.
