While Larian Studios has already pushed out the last feature-filled patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, the studio hasn’t abandoned the game completely when it comes to support. Bugs, technical and gameplay issues are still being resolved with updates and hotfixes, which is a good sign for players.
Today, Larian Studios has released Baldur’s Gate 3 update 1.800.700 on all platforms, and this is a minor patch that addresses technical issues on PC and consoles.
Read on for what this patch does to the game in the official changelog.
Baldur’s Gate 3 February 2026 Update Addresses Technical Issues
It seems this patch is one of the last (if not the last) we’ll see for the game as Larian Studios has moved on to their next project, which is a new Divinity game. Per the studio, this patch should help with loading saves or those who have encountered proogress issues from Act 2 into Act 3.
The developers state, “As it turns out, a few crashes and technical issues were still knocking about, so if you were getting stuck while loading saves, or trying to progress from Act 2 into Act 3, your corrupted saves should now be fixed!”
For those pm consoles, you’ll see the patch version appear on the main menu screen as version 4.1.1.7143914 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S; while it’ll appear as version 4.1.1.7151330 on PC, Mac and Steam Deck.
The last patch we received before this was three months ago, which was for Hotfix 35 and it housed the following fixes:
