Battlefield 6 Open Beta Receives New Update Version 1.000.002 Ahead of Start Date
With the Battlefield 6 open beta early access phase kicking off tomorrow, August 7, DICE has released an update to the client today. This is a minor patch, and given we don’t have access to the game at all, chances are this implements backend changes.
Clocking in at 472 MB on the PS5, players will be required to download the Battlefield 6 open beta update version 1.000.002 before they can connect to the game’s servers. It’s best to download this now if possible, so you’ll be ready when the servers are activated tomorrow.
Battlefield 6 Open Beta Client Gets Surprise Update
As one might expect, there are no notes to speak of given the game isn’t playable yet. However, what we do have is important info on what to expect from the beta, as well as the list of rewards that players can earn for playing the two beta weekends.
