There’s Still a Chance to Get a Battlefield 6 Open Beta Early Access Code, as EA is Giving Them Away

Although the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is going to be available for everyone to play, DICE is hosting a two-day early access for those who manage to sign up for Battlefield Labs, are a EA Play Pro subscribers, or managed to snag a code during the multiplayer reveal event.

For those who aren’t big on signing up for another subscription and missed out on the Labs signup, it looks like your only chance to get to play a little bit earlier will be through an early access code. Luckily, it seems DICE has plenty in stock, as they plan to give away a bunch leading up to this Thursday’s release.

There’s Still a Chance to Play Battlefield 6 Open Beta Early Access

Battlefield fans who missed out on the initial early access giveaway will be glad to know that EA is giving you yet another opportunity to get a code. Announced on X (formerly Twitter), fans can join the official Battlefield Discord channel, where DICE and EA will be sharing a list of redeemable early access codes.

The only downside is that this is all first-come, first-served, meaning the person with the fastest fingers is the one likely to get to code first. But hey, getting a chance to get in on the early access is better than no chance, right?

Even if you don’t get a code, the bright side is that you won’t have long to wait, as the first open beta weekend for Battlefield 6 begins this weekend. The complete schedule is as follows:

  • Weekend 1: August 9-August 10
  • Weekend 2: August 14-August 17

The Open Beta will be available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For PC players, you’re going to want to make sure you meet the minimum requirements, and as a reminder, you must have secure boot enabled to boot the game. Because of how many different motherboard models there are, your best bet is to check your model and do a quick online search for a tutorial, as no set of instruction will fit every board out there (sadly).

Otherwise, good luck, everyone, and hopefully you manage to snag a code!
