How to Gain Access to the Battlefield 6 Open Beta

While the preload for the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is available for everyone to download, the early access phase is only available to those who meet one of the specific criteria below:

  1. You are a Battlefield Labs member, regardless of whether or not you were invited to the earlier playtests.
  2. EA Play Pro subscribers – Subscription is only available on PC.
  3. Multiplayer reveal code – During last week’s multiplayer reveal, streamers were dropping invite codes that could be redeemed for early access to the Open Beta.

Early access to the Battlefield 6 Open Beta begins on August 7 and runs until August 8. Afterwards, everyone will be able to join in on the Open Beta during the upcoming weekends.

  • August 9-10
  • August 14-17

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Dates and Rewards

As previously mentioned, the early access to the open beta begins on August 7 and ends on August 8, giving players two full days of playtime before the next test. During this time, players will be able to play through different maps, modes, and test out all the classes and some of the available weapons.

However, there are no rewards that can be earned during the early access period. The two open beta dates will include rewards that can be carried into the full game this October, though any character progression made will be reset. The dates and the rewards are as follows:

WEEKEND 1 – AUG. 9–10

  • SEEKER SOLDIER SKIN
  • ALL TERRAIN SOLDIER SKIN
  • DOMINION WEAPON PACKAGE
  • LIGHTS OUT PLAYER CARD BACKGROUND

Additionally, decals and other stuff have been hinted at, which we’ll learn more about closer to the start dates.

WEEKEND 2 – AUG. 14–17

  • WAR MACHINE VEHICLE SKIN
  • BAT COMPANY DOG TAG
  • STRIKING DISTANCE WEAPON PACKAGE

And that’s that, you should now be ready to play Battlefield 6 when the Open Beta starts! Hopefully, we’ll see you on the battlefield. Maybe we’ll trade some of our dog tags with you, assuming we can sneak up on any of you during the tests.

For console players, we got confirmation that you’ll be able to use mouse and keyboard as an input method.

Battlefield 6 officially arrives on October 10, 2025, ont the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
