Black Ops 1 Update 1.05/1.005 Fires Out on PS4, PS5
Following the patch released last week for Call of Duty: Black Ops for PS4 and PS5, Iron Galaxy has released a follow-up patch today, July 22.
PlayStation players will see the download as Black Ops update 1.05/1.005, and this won’t add any new content as expected, but it should slot in some much-needed fixes.
Same as the previous patch, do not expect this title update to solve all the bugs and cheater issues, as that’s an ongoing battle.

As of the time of this article’s publication, Iron Galaxy has not released any changelog just yet, though we’re expecting that to change within the day.
While not documented by Iron Galaxy, here are some of the fixes released last week that weren’t part of the changelog:
- Crashing issues when entering multiplayer and backing out of lobbies
- Party-up works (unverified)
- Domination and Demolition modes are back
Some of the issues that are confirmed and still not fixed are:
- Sending invites, partying-up errors
- Sniper issue (BO1)
- Still no offline bots (not a bug, but players are still waiting for this to be added back in).
- Matchmaking issues still persist
If we do get a proper changelog, expect the article to be updated.
