Black Ops 1 Update 1.09 | 1.009 Released on October 12
Alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the first Black Ops game received an update as well today, October 12.
PS4 and PS5 gamers will see Black Ops 1 update 1.09 | 1.009 available now, and this small download is an unannounced patch.
Black Ops 1 Receives Patch on PlayStation Platforms This October 12
So far, Activision has not acknowledged today’s title update, and what’s even worse, it doesn’t resolve the god mode issues, whic we assumed would be patched out ASAP.
Some of the known issues that persist include:
- Cheaters using god mode and other exploits
- XP exploits and manipulated progression
- Poor matchmaking and connection quality
- Party system and inviting friends
- Controller deadzone and input responsiveness
Chances are, today’s patch is more for stability improvements than anything else, hence why there are no noticeable player-facing changes.
If the devs or Activision release an official changelog, we’ll update the article with the info.
