Destiny 2 Receives Hotfix But Don’t Get Excited
Here are the fixes from Bungie today:
- Updated back-end code to address certain instances where cheat users could spam other players with unearned rewards and XP.
- Accounts leveraging these cheats in malicious ways are being actioned.
- Innocent players who were not actively seeking these cheats or their benefits will not be punished.
- If you experience players utilizing cheats, please review our Report Suspected Cheating and Poor Behavior article for info on how to report them.
In other Destiny news, Bungie has promised that the future of Destiny lives on! The studio promised “new stories and games” are in the works for the franchise, though I wouldn’t expect it to be released anytime soon.
As for Bungie’s other game, Marathon, the extraction shooter received its big Nightfall Refresh update yesterday.
