Fortnite New Update on November 4 Brings Game to Version 4.90
Following the release of the big 38.00 patch for Fortnite, which included The Simpsons collaboration content, Epic Games has pushed out a new update today. As one might expect, this update brings fixes.
Console gamers will see today’s download appear as Fortnite update 4.90, and this has been released to resolve issues rather than add any new content.
Fortnite’s Update on November 4 Released Without Any Announcement
Update: Epic Games confirmed the following bug fixes were applied today:
- Fixed a bug improving Epic and Legendary Suppressed Assault Rifle spread accuracy.
- The Epic and Legendary Tactical Shotgun no longer deals higher-than-intended environmental damage.
Some of the key issues Epic is looking into recently include:
- An issue has been identified where players may experience extended loading times when attempting to access Blitz.
We are actively investigating and will provide further updates once more information is available. - Simpsons Couch disabled to fix an issue
- The Augury outfit in their lockers missing from player lockers

GENERAL TOP ISSUES

- [Controller] Missing player interaction animation when holding a weapon and interacting with a Sidekick.
- Mr. Dappermint is missing his bow tie.

- Nintendo Switch players encountering storage space issues
- Stability issues for some players using the Xbox app on PC.
BATTLE ROYALE/BLITZ ROYALE/RELOAD/OG TOP ISSUES

- [Controller] Crouch and Confirm Edit may trigger at the same time with custom controls.

- Styles for Ranked Backbling and Ranked Umbrella do not unlock when players rank up
LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES

- Some Bus Stations may no longer stay discovered after leaving a World.
- Newly discovered Bus Stations on the Star Wars Island and the Lost Isles have incorrect names.

- Ranged weapons may not function correctly when equipped by NPCs on LEGO Fortnite Islands.
- Sizzle Sgt. may not be present at the Dispatch Center.
- ‘F’ key conflict: unable to interact with objects.

FORTNITE MOBILE TOP ISSUES

- Controller bindings cannot be customized on Mobile.
- Unable to send Game Channel messages in Battle Royale Solos.
ROCKET RACING TOP ISSUES

- The Weekly Quest progress tracker may not update after progress is made.
- Multiple hazards may not render fully at Anarchy Arches 2 and Basalt Burrow.
- Cannot Rocket Drift with default keybind on PC (Creative).
Investigating
- Some Wheels may incorrectly appear with darker Default Styles or incomplete visual elements.
SAVE THE WORLD TOP ISSUES
Fixed in Next Game Update
- Unable to change the ‘Jump’ keybind on PC.
- Amplifiers in SSD and Endurance have no collision.
Investigating
- Ninjas may not be able to Mantis Leap consistently after using it.
- Husks may get stuck on terrain ledges.
- The progress circle animation does not appear around the “Vote” button when using a controller.
- Plasma Pulse may not behave as intended after firing a Bow.
FORTNITE FESTIVAL TOP ISSUES

- Eliminated players may be able to continue playing in Battle Stage.
