Fortnite update 1.000.088 has been deployed on both last-gen and next-gen platforms, and is an unannounced patch. We just got the v23.20 patch last week, so don’t expect much from this title update. Check out what’s new in the new Fortnite update patch notes.

Here’s the latest announcement from Epic regarding Fortnite issues:

We're aware of an increase in reports regarding competitive scoring and inaccurate leaderboards from some of our recent competitive events.

Outside of that, nothing has been mentioned regarding any player-facing changes for today’s patch. As for issues with the game, here’s what’s known via the official Fortnite Trello board:
GENERAL TOP ISSUES:
Fixed in Future Game Update:
- Players are unable to claim the Exile variation of the Mind’s Eye back bling
- Battle Hound and Molten Battle Hound Helmet visually incorrect.
- Physics on Joni the Red’s coat are no longer functioning.
Investigating:
- Hurdling is temporarily disabled.
- The Sparkle Specialist outfit is not reflective and shiny.
In Development:
- Players are getting a blue lobby background
- Bonus Rewards ‘Pre-requisite Not Met’ Issue
BATTLE ROYALE & ZERO BUILD TOP ISSUES:
Fixed in Future Game Update:
The “Party Time” Augment has been temporarily disabled.
Unable to emote after a Victory Royale
Fall damage when Sliding with the Shockwave Hammer
Investigating:
- Players in Performance mode do not see player or chest outlines when they are marked.
- The “Shotgun Striker” Augment is temporarily disabled.
- Red dot missing when scoping with Red-Eye Assault Rifle
- Controller inputs don’t work on PC when spectating.
In Development:
- Firing a weapon while sprinting and jumping may not register the hit
- The “Aerialist” Augment has been temporarily disabled.
- Players may be sent back to the initial location when exiting a vehicle
