Gothic 1 Remake Update 1.000.010

Alkimia Interactive has released a new hotfix for Gothic 1 Remake today, July 10, and this brings technical fixes across all platforms.

Console gamers will see this download as Gothic 1 Remake update 1.000.010, and it is a hotfix for the 1.0.3 patch, which applied a wide range of fixes.

For the complete info, read on for the patch notes.

Gothic 1 Remake Receives Fix for Trial of Fire Quest

Here are the fixes applied today per Alkimia:

— Fixed a leak on audio channels that could block all the audio;
— Fixed dialogue cameras not exiting properly (mostly happening with Melvin, Raven, Stone, and a few other characters);
— Trial of Fire quest can now be fixed also if the braziers have been lit before the start of the quest.

The developers also said that players should verify their game version is CL 170775, which confirms that the latest version is applied. Players can find the game’s version number in Settings, displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

If you haven’t checked last week’s patch, it introduced balancing changes, bug fixes and more. Some of the improvements include:

Improvements:

– Navigation for large creatures.
– AI interactions for better positioning.
– NPCs clipping through walls when they’re defeated.
– Facial animations of some characters.
– Improved story flow to avoid quest blockers.
– Performance during long play sessions.

Check out the complete patch notes, which also mention quest-related fixes and more.
