Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto V update 1.006.001 today on current-gen platforms. Don’t expect any new content, as this is mostly for bug fixes related to GTA Online. Read on for everything new in the GTA V patch notes for January 16.

Update: Rockstar Games has released the official patch notes and have also confirmed the patch is only for current-gen.
[January 16, 2024] – Fixes (PS5)
- Fixed an issue that resulted in a loss of audio when using Dolby Atmos
- Fixed an issue that could result in a crash when exiting to the Landing Page
This is an unannounced update for Grand Theft Auto V and no patch notes have been released for this update just yet. The last update to come to the game was patch 1.006 which was released back in December 2023. This update included a ton of new content for the GTA Online portion of the game.
