Resident Evil Requiem New Update 1.120 Released as Second Patch
About a week after releasing the game’s first patch, Capcom has now pushed out a new title update for Resident Evil Requiem. This is once again, another minor update, so don’t expect any new pieces of content outside of fixes.
Those on consoles, you’ll see this download appear as Resident Evil Requiem update 1.1.20 (complete version 1.120.000), and it should be a small file across all platforms.
Resident Evil Requiem Second Update Ver. 1.120 Released on March 13
Update: Capcom has issued the changelog for today’s minor update.
PlayStation®5/Xbox Series X|S/Steam/Epic Games Store
- Minor fixes have been implemented.
Same as the first update, Capcom hasn’t said anything about today’s update just yet. However, we do know Capcom is looking to add DualSense adapative trigger support for the PC version of the game, stating, “We’ve heard your feedback and are currently working on supporting the adaptive trigger and vibration functions for the DualSense wireless controller for the PC version of the game.”
The devs did say that this will take some time, so chances are, this isn’t live just yet.
Some of the known issues we’ve yet to see Capcom address include:
- W870 Police shotgun visual glitch after updating the weapon’s stock
- Game crashing when changing upscaling settings on PC
- Frame rate drops when interacting with certain objects or opening and closing item chests
- White spots with high ray-tracing on
The list of fixes from last week’s patch is available below for reference:
PlayStation®5/xXbox Series X | S/Steam/Epic Games Store
- Fixed an issue that prevented progression under certain conditions.
- We’ve fixed some issues to make the game more enjoyable.
Steam/Epic Games Store
- Fixed a bug with the behavior of Path Tracing.
- Fixed a cosmetic glitch that occurred when upscaling.
Epic Games Store
- Fixed a bug where the processing load temporarily increased when acquiring achievements.
Once Capcom releases the official patch notes, we’ll update the article with the info. If you spot any specific fix/change, leave a comment and let us know what.
In other Resident Evil Requiem news, Capcom confirmed we’ll be seeing a story expansion drop in the future, as well as an update that introduces Photo Mode, and another one in March that adds mini games.
