Report: Cronos: Lazarus Images Leak Before Official Announcement
Bloober Team is currently working on seven horror games, even though it has not been a full year since the release of Cronos: The New Dawn.
Some of these games are already known, such as the remake of the first Silent Hill and Layers of Fear 3. Now, it looks like another project from the Polish studio is about to be announced.
Many people expected Bloober Team to appear at State of Play and announce its next game, but we may not have to wait much longer, because its next release seems to be Cronos: Lazarus.
First Images of Cronos: Lazarus Leak Before Bloober Team’s Official Announcement
Insider Intercelluar shared the cover of Cronos: Lazarus and a first in-game image, which suggests that the official reveal could happen soon.
Nowadays, fake images appear very often, but this does not seem to be one of them, as the game’s name had already appeared in an IGN article about the titles that will be shown at IGN Live, which takes place from June 6 to June 7 and includes Cronos: Lazarus.
Check out the leaked images below:
Of course, it is very unlikely that this is Cronos 2, since the first game came out less than a year ago, so a full sequel would not make much sense. For now, everything points to it being DLC or possibly a standalone expansion for the original game, although this is only speculation, and we will have to wait for the official announcement to find out.
It is also worth noting that reports suggest Bloober Team is expected to announce its new AAA project this month during Summer Game Fest. Considering this, the reveal could happen very soon, most likely at Summer Game Fest or possibly at the Xbox Games Showcase, which takes place on June 7.
