Fallout 76 Down on October 20 to Bring a New Game Update
For Fallout 76 players that can’t login or find a session, it’s not just you. Bethesda has taken the FO76 servers down on October 20, and this is for maintenance where a new game update is expected to be released.
This will once again take hours before the servers are up again, but this update is a lot more special given it’s smackdab in the middle of the Fallout Day celebrations.
Fallout 76 Servers Go Down on October 20
Downtime officially begins at 10 am ET/7 am PT/10 pm HKT. While no timeframe is given, this server outage usually lasts for at least 3-4 hours.
While Bethesda hasn’t said what’s in the update, we are expecting more than just bug fixes as Fallout Day celebrations are underway.
When it comes to issues, some of the key things we want resolved are technical ones, especially when it comes to the PS5 version since it lags and crashes more often than it should.
Once the patch notes are out, we’ll have a link to it within the article, so sit tight!
In related news, Fallout 4 received a game update last week and we’re hoping to hear more about it today and what Creations have been added.
If anything changes regarding the downtime, we’ll be sure to keep readers updated.
