If you’re looking forward to testing out the new Specialist and map in Battlefield 2042’s Season 1, you might be having issues connecting now, as Battlefield 2042 down reports have surfaced, and this seems to be showing up as “Load Persistence Data Errors” for players.

Update 3: DICE has announced that while they are working to restore full service, server are active again! We’ll update the post again if there’s new developments.

Update #2: It seems the error has resurfaced again! Here’s the announcement from DICE:

Update: DICE has resolved the issues and players should be able to login BUT Battle Pass rewards are temporarily affected.

Players on the BF2042 subreddit have reported on the outages that’s currently happening:

There are a lot more threads like that, but you get the gist. Thankfully, DICE is aware and looking into it:
