Battlefield 2042 Mouse Input Issues Surface After Latest Patch, Workaround Outlined by DICE

Battlefield 2042 Mouse Input Issues

If you’re playing Battlefield 2042 on PC after Update 3 went live today, you may have noticed some issues with regards to your mouse inputs, in particular with regards to mouse movement. If you are, you’ll be happy to know that developer DICE have recognized these Battlefield 2042 mouse input issues, with a workaround fix being revealed online for players to try for themselves.

The workaround fix was relayed over on the official Battlefield Direct Communication Twitter account, where it stated:

We’ve noticed some players on PC aren’t able to use horizontal mouse input after Update #3 went live.

Restore default settings by removing “PROFSAVE” files in My Documents > Battlefield 2042 > Settings to keep playing

Be aware this resets all your in-game settings

As noted by the developer, some PC players have not been able to use horizontal mouse inputs after the game’s most recent update. The workaround should resolve these issues, with a cost: you will need to reset your in-game settings, as you’re basically deleting your current in-game ones.

If you’re one of the players experiencing this issue and this workaround fixed it, let us know in the comments below!
