Battlefield 2042, alongside older games in the franchise (BF1, BFV, BF4), have seen a huge influx of players recently, with all games now having active player base of over 10K players each (and just on PC). This is in large part to an on-going “Battlefield Bundle” sale on Steam.
Battlefield YouTuber DANNYonPC highlighted this little fact by sharing the player count on various Battlefield games on PC, and note that these are just Steam numbers as well, and doesn’t account for Origin users and even consoles.

Based on today’s data, here are the Battlefield 2042 and past BF games’ player base numbers in the last 24 hours:
- Battlefield V: 27,800 (most recent), 59.133 (24-hour peak)
- Battlefield 1: 10.642 (most recent), 39,717 (24-hour peak)
- Battlefield 4: 3,239 (most recent), 3,239 (24-hour peak)
- Battlefield 2042: 12,827 (most recent), 17,885 (24-hour peak)

Again, this doesn’t include player numbers for Origin and consoles, which means those are considerably higher.
