DICE and EA have finally announced Battlefield 2042 Season 5, and it’s called “New Dawn.” While there’s no details beyond what we already know that’s shared, we are getting a gameplay trailer for it on May 26.

Aside from a new map, players will be getting a host of quality of life improvements. Some of the stuff already revealed include changes to vehicle loadouts, specialist changes for Irish and Dozer, squad management and squad orders. We’re also getting damage number indicators as well, which you can read about here.

2042 updates later. Nothing is done about teamplay. [Clan] tags. Squad options. So why would my game friends bother to Come back to this failed object? Everybody left not Just a few. Hundreds of my Battlefield friends. A whole community dropped out. Because the game and foundations are crap. Even now the hit reg is still way of. Bullets fly trough Walls. Around corners. Don’t hit. Its a Kids game for solo wannebee superheroes.
Yep, it’s the truth. The core game play is simply too far from battlefield 4 which was the last modern entry. They sold put their community for mainstream attention, same old EA, and same old fans getting down voted and hated on by a bunch of battle pass scrubs that are okay with 1 map a year instead of 10 maps and real dlc.
“Battlefield 2042 Season 5 brings you ONE whole new map to play in addition to all the other maps you’re already tired of playing. Why work on multiple new maps when we can work on money makers like weapons skins and players skins people love to buy”…….I miss the days of Premium where by this time we had 20+ new maps to play with BF4. Companies just figuring out way to provide less content yet nickel and dime us.
