Just a few days ago, DICE announced the Chapter 5: War in the Pacific release date for Battlefield 5. It seems that before Chapter 5 drops, the Battlefield 5 next update is hitting first.

Over on this week’s Battlefield 5 Weekly Debrief, DICE Community Manager Jeff Braddock revealed that “Update 5.0” will be coming next week “ahead” of the start of Chapter 5. Given that Chapter 5 is set to start on October 31, that means we’ll be getting it most likely on October 29 (Tuesday), which is when DICE usually releases their game patches to all platforms.

Same as before, once we get wind of the patch notes, which are usually released a day before the actual patch drops, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
