If you killed an enemy with a few bullets, and have more than half in the magazine, DO NOT RELOAD unless you’re sure the area is clear! I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen people fire off a few bullets, and then press reload, which got them killed. I’m definitely guilty of this myself.

It’s a bad habit that carries over to other shooters, but with a concerned effort, it can be “unlearned.” Fire off your weapon, drop an enemy, and then survey the area. Can you kill another enemy with the amount of bullets in your magazine? If the answer to that is yes, then don’t reload just yet. Make sure to check if  the area is clear? Are teammates around to cover you? Then go reload, soldier.
