If you have two of the three flags capped in Domination but the scores are close and the fighting is fierce, don’t go running to cap the third flag, or you might just give the enemy a chance to cap B or your main flag. 

Remember Call of Duty’s spawn logic, and how enemies will spawn at the opposite end of the map (your capture point) once the majority of one side is on the opposing side’s territory.

Play it safe, be conservative from time to time.
