Corsair: PS5 SCUF Controller Will Be Out “Pretty Early” Compared to Competitors

PS5 SCUF Controller

Those looking for a SCUF controller for their PS5, it seems we’ll be getting our first look of it soon, as the PS5 SCUF controller was officially touched upon during Corsair’s latest earnings call.

Speaking during the company’s latest financial call, Corsair CEO Andy Paul explained that the company wouldn’t say when the controller would be released — but they’re currently working on it to have it out in the market as soon as possible.

We’re obviously working as fast as we can to get out of [the] PS5 controller. We haven’t released when that will be, but I suspect we’ll be pretty early in the market compared to any of our competitors.

Obviously the chance of seeing a new controller for the PS5 is a welcomed sight — especially since the system has the Dual Sense as the only peripheral that can be used with the system. The PS4 Dual Shock 4 controllers are not compatible with the new PlayStation console, so that’s why companies like Corsair are going the extra mile to develop third party options for consumers to choose from.

Speaking of the PS5, Sony has shipped a record breaking 7.8 million PS5 consoles already, with 116 million PS4s in as well — which you can read about here.
