Hear, ye Tarnished! FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced a special Elden Ring anniversary event to be held on February 25, 2023 at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Stockholm. The community celebration event will celebrate Elden Ring’s first anniversary with giveaways, contests, exclusive prizes, in-game PvP, and much more, and will be livestreamed on Twitch as well.

FromSoftware’s Souls successor has enjoyed an unprecedented degree of success: Elden Ring won over 400 Game of the Year awards from gaming and entertainment publications by January 31, 2023, beating 2020’s The Last of Us Part 2 as the most awarded game of all time. To celebrate the game’s success in the year following its release, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment are holding a community celebration event on February 25 in Stockholm at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere.
The in-person event, which will also be livestreamed on Twitch, promises “(a) live show, giveaways, contests, exclusive prizes, (a) pub quiz, drinks, cosplay, PvP!” More info about the event will be revealed “very soon.”
Many fans will be wishing for DLC announcements following the discovery of unused “DLC01” data within the game and hints dropped by creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and Kadokawa, but no such promises have been made for the event as of yet.
