Fallout 76 Down on July 22 to Apply an Update Focused on Bug Fixes
Heads up! If you’re planning on going outside your vault in Fallout 76, it’ll need to wait a few hours, as by the time you read this, the Falloutn 76 servers are already down. Fret not, as this is for your standard maintenance.
During the game’s maintenance downtime, players can expect a patch to be released on all platforms. Based on what Bethesda has shared, this is a minor update focused on bug fixes, rather than any major changes.
Fallout 76 Servers Down on July 22 for Maintenance
UPDATE: The patch notes for today’s update is now out.
Per Bethesda, the downtime starts at 10 am ET/9 am CT/7 am PT/10 pm HKT. While there’s no definite schedule revealed, the game’s server outages usually lasts for 3-4 hours.
The list of bugs that will be sorted out in the update hasn’t been revealed yet, but Bethesda confirmed that this is an update “focused on bug fixes.”
With the studio having just released the big Season 21: Gone Fission update last month, don’t expect anything major to be included in this patch. The next major update has no release date yet, but Bethesda is testing it out on the PTS (Private Test Network), and the studio has even released the patch notes for it, which detail the quality-of-life features and balance changes players can expect from the next major update that has no release date yet.
Once the patch is out, we’ll have it up on the site. If there are any changes to the downtime schedule or it’s extended, we’ll update the article to reflect it.
