Grand Theft Auto 6 Release Narrowed Down to Fall 2025, GTA 5 Now at 200M Copies Sold
As part of Take-Two Interactive’s quarterly financials report, the company has narrowed down Grand Theft Auto 6’s release to be somewhere in fall 2025!
While the report has no release month or date (understandably), Take-Two did make a comment on its upcoming fiscal year.
As we enter Fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to deliver Net Bookings of $5.55 to $5.65 billion. Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI.
Yep, that basically means GTA 6 will be released sometime in fall 2025! For those unaware, fall or also known as autmn, runs from September through November, which means Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released in one of those months.
In the same report, Take-Two also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) sales have now amassed a whopping 200 million units to date! This means that in the past 12 months, the game managed to sell about 20 million more copies given Take-Two’s announcement that the game was at 180 million units sold in May 2023.
With GTA 6 now confirmed to out next year, chances are, we’ll be seeing a lot more of the game in the coming months and in 2025. Prepare for an overdose of gameplay snippets, speculation, leaks (fake or not) and more, as 2025 becomes the year of GTA 6.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is confirmed for a fall 2025 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with no mention of a PC release just yet.
