While Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto franchise still continues to sell like hotcakes, the developers are in an unenviable position where they need to raise the bar in every series entry, which is the case for in-development GTA 6.
Case in point: Take-Two Interactive’s (parent company of Rockstar) CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned that GTA 6 needs to be something players haven’t seen before, but also something that should feel familiar to GTA players.
This was shared by Zelnick in “The Aarthi & Siriam Show” videocast where the exec also said that Rockstar’s answer to it all is to just seek “perfection.”
It (GTA 6) needs to be something you’ve never seen before on the one hand and it needs to reflect the feeling that we have about Grand Theft Auto and that’s a big challenge for the team.
Now Rockstar’s answer is just seek perfection. Seek nothing short of perfection and we’ll get there.
For now, we’re left in the dark as to where Rockstar is with GTA 6’s development, as we haven’t seen nor heard of Grand Theft Auto 6 since the massive leak that happened last year — something Take-Two said didn’t affect the game’s development.

Maybe they can look into similar chatgpt style chatting with built in AI bots. The tech isnt new. EA still developing it for years. E.g Basic chat commands like go left, go right, follow me, do not shoot, etc are all doable without any latency delays.
