Hideo Kojima’s Next Game Will Feature Elle Fanning, Teasers Pushed Out

Hideo Kojima confirmed that Elle Fanning will star in his upcoming title. Recently, Kojima had been teasing the involvement of an actor in his upcoming title on the Tokyo Game Show. The developer posted a darkened image of a mystery woman with the message “Who Am I?” covering her face in white letters.

Fast forward to today, by scanning a QR display at PAX Australia, as shared by Lance McDonald on Twitter, directed folks to a new picture uploaded on Kojima Productions’ website. The picture revealed the mystery woman to be Elle Fanning and had the text “A Hideo Kojima Game x Elle Fanning.

Apart from revealing Elle Fanning, a new poster with the message “Where Am I?” was also revealed with another character in a darkened image. Kojima uploaded four photos to his Twitter account with the caption “TGS→「WHO」→ ELLE PAX→「WHERE」→？？？ ？？？→「？？？」→？？?” suggesting that we will find out more in the next big gaming event (The Game Awards?).

We already know that Kojima is working on Death Stranding 2 when Reedus inadvertently confirmed it, and he also has an unannounced project with Xbox in the works. It’s likely that Fanning will be the lead in one of the two titles, or maybe in an entirely new game. Only time will tell.
