Marvels Avengers Raid to Conclude War for Wakanda Storyline, Patrol Mode & Cloning Labs Not Coming This Year

Marvel's Avengers Klaw Raid

Just a few days ago, Crystal Dynamics has released an updated roadmap for Marvel’s Avengers, and it states there that in the fall/winter, the first Marvel’s Avengers Raid will be available to players.

In this past Friday’s dev stream for Marvel’s Avengers, Crystal Dynamics talked about the Raid a bit, and mentioned how it will conclude the War for Wakanda storyline. Furthermore, the devs mention how the Raid will not be like OLTs (Omega Level Threats), and will offer more strategic gameplay rather than bullet sponge enemies.

While the roadmap shows Klaw as the big baddie in the Raid, Crystal Dynamics also mentioned that could be a mini boss of some sort before fighting him, which could be the Echoes Crystal Dynamics has teased about on Twitter before.

Now, for those looking for Patrol Mode and Cloning Labs to make it out this year, the devs have confirmed that these modes are still being worked on, though they aren’t the main focus for now, and won’t come out this year. For the time being, Crystal Dynamics is focusing on the Raid, and the Spider-Man DLC for PlayStation gamers (which is still scheduled for this year, by the way).

You can watch the entire dev stream in the video below.
