Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Open Beta Now Live on PS4, but You Can’t Download It on PSN, Here’s How to Access It

modern warfare patch 1.08 review

In case you didn’t know, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta is now open to everyone with a PS4 (no PlayStation Plus required). If you tried searching for it on the PSN Store, you won’t find the  Modern Warfare download link or page on PSN, which might puzzle people. For those who want to download the Modern Warfare beta client, we’re here to help you do just that!

Players will need to go to the Call of Duty Promotions page. Once there, choose a country and then hit “submit,” where you’ll then be given a code that you can use on PSN! Once you redeem it on PSN, you’ll then gain access to the client. Download it, and that’s it!

The Modern Warfare open beta runs from September 14-16, and again next weekend on September  19-23.

For those who already have access, Infinity Ward is making changes to the game, and here’s what’s new for today!

Stay tuned for our hands-on impressions of the beta once we’ve poured enough time into it, and with the beta’s updates, we want to make sure we give it a fair shake.
