Comng out of nowhere, Sony has released PS4 update 7.50 early today. Same as with other unannounced firmware updates, this one doesn’t really deliver anything new other than stability fixes.
The PS4 update 7.50 file is a relatively small one clocking at just 470MB.
Main features in version 7.50 update:
- This system software update improves system performance.
And yes, that’s basically, which isn’t surprising, no? If there’s a stealth fix or something included in this patch that wasn’t announced, we’ll be sure to let people know.
Update: The Save Editor tool, Save Wizard is no longer compatible with this Firmware. We suspected much as typically firmware’s marked with the generic system improvements are aimed to fix exploits.
In other PlayStation news, don’t forget, if you’re a PS4 owner, and regardless if you’re a PlayStation Plus member or not, you can download the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and Journey for free as part of Sony’s new “Play at Home” initiative.
Now, if you’re a PS+ member, then you might want to check out the freebies this month as it includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which rounds out the mainline Uncharted saga. Not bad for those who want to binge-game this month.
