PS5 Lifetime Sales Now at 19.3 Million; Sony Expecting 18 Million More for Next Fiscal Year

PlayStation smashes through another milestone, as PS5 lifetime sales are now at 19.3 million units, with 2 million of those being sold in the last fiscal quarter of 2021. In addition, Sony also announced that they are expecting another huge milestone for the next fiscal year which would be quite the feat for the new-gen console.

– PS5 Shipped 2m units

– PS5 Lifetime Shipments now at 19.3m

– 70.5m units of PlayStation software for the Quarter

– 14.5m units of first party games for the Quarter

– Digital Software Ratio 71%

– 47.4m PS+ Subscribers

– 106m Monthly Active Users

In addition to this, Benji-Sales also reported that Sony is expecting another huge sales boost this fiscal year, as seen in the tweet below:

 

Sony announces they expect to ship 18 Million PlayStation 5 consoles in the next Fiscal Year (April 2022 – March 2023)

That would be huge jump over last years 11.5 Million PS5s

Hope this happens, would be GREAT news for the industry to see hardware availability improve
