While DICE has just shared details on Battlefield 2042’s upcoming Season 3 in the latest dev update video, it looks like more details regarding the new season has leaked courtesy of EA themselves! The Chinese version of the dev update had a different description on the video, and it revealed that BF2042 Season 3 will be titled “Escalation” and feature a new Specialist in Zain.
While the description for the video has since been altered, thankfully a screenshot is here to save the info (thanks, DANNYonPC)! Note that the text is a bit off since it’s translated from Chinese by software:

Same as with any leak, nothing official has been confirmed just yet, but given where the info came from, this has been all but confirmed officially. As for the rest of Season 3’s offerings, DICE has already revealed the Vault Weapons and new “Weapon Proficiencies” coming for Specialists as part of the rework.
In related Battlefield 2042 news, DICE has also confirmed that “all-new” content is coming to Battlefield 2042 after Season 4. For those on Xbox, the game will be part of Xbox Game Pass with the launch of Season 3, so that should rope in more players.
