Report: Destiny 2 x Fortnite Collaboration Armor Surfaces via Datamine

In just a few days, Bungie will be hosting a stream showcasing what’s next for Destiny 2. While that will no doubt contain info about Season 18, and the next expansion set to hit the game, it seems some of the early surprises have leaked out, and a Destiny 2 x Fortnite collaboration could be one of those surprise announcements.

Thanks to datamining, the Destiny 2 x Fortnite armor set has been unearthed! It seems this set will be available via Eververse, which you can see below courtesy of Destiny dataminer Ginsor:

Here’s a comparison image of the original skins in Fortnite that has been made into armor in Destiny 2:

Same as in any other datamined info, none of this has been announced officially by Bungie or Epic Games. But I would be very surprised if this wasn’t part of the announcements planned for August 23.

The Destiny 2 Showcase pre-show will begin at 8 am PST/11 am EST /11 pm HKT on August 23, and the main show will start an hour later. Stay tuned here on MP1st for the official announcements and reveals.
