Report: Resident Evil 4 DLC Featuring Ada Wong Unearthed in Datamine

While the Resident Evil 4 remake has received high praise from players and publishers alike, there were some features in the original game that didn’t make the cut, such as the Separate Ways mode featuring Ada Wong that you unlocked after completing the main story. A Resident Evil 4 remake DLC featuring Ada Wong may be arriving in the future, however, according to a recent datamine.

Game files of RE4’s remake have revealed a folder by the name of “_anotherorder.” Another Order is the Japanese name of the Separate Ways mode, which suggests that a DLC may be available in the remake at some point in the future. The datamined folders also reveal a file name for the Mercenaries DLC that was announced last month.

While the folder itself doesn’t outright confirm the existence of a DLC featuring Ada Wong, it’s a definite possibility. A recent interview with the game’s developers did reveal that Ada Wong would play a bigger role in the remake, so a DLC isn’t out of the question.

Same as with any datamine, nothing here is confirmed unless confirmed by Capcom. However, most datamines do ring out to be true, so don’t be surprised to hear about this once we’ve gotten The Mercenaries mode free DLC set for release on April 7.
