Those thirsty for Silent Hill 2 news, there’s some good news and some bad news. While we did get a new Silent Hill 2 remake trailer at State of Play today, it didn’t come with a release date, sadly.

With the latest rumor stating it’s set for release sometime this year, hopefully, we’ll get a release date soon. Perhaps the game will be getting its own spotlight in another State of Play at a later date? One can hope.

I’m prepared to be disappointed. They are 0 for 2 with the latest SH ‘games’ as that community choose your own adventure one was terrible and the new free one that just dropped was the worst written thing I have ever experienced in ages.
