Last month, DICE announced that the next major Star Wars Battlefront 2 title update called “Battle for Scarif” would be pushed into April. While no definite release date has been given, it seems the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Battle of Scarif update won’t be available until at least near the end of the month.
The official EA Star Wars Twitter account announced that the Battle of Scarif update and even its accompanying Community Transmission (patch notes, dev design explanations, etc.) will be delayed as well.

Given we’re already in the mid part of April, saying something will be pushed back to “later” in the month sounds like it won’t be anytime next week. Hopefully, this is the last delay for the update, though with most (if not all) of DICE working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s not really surprising that something like this got delayed. Heck, if Battlefield 5 is suffering through it, then other games from the studio will be affected as well.
Once we know more details about this upcoming update, we’ll let our readers know.
