Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Ending Left as a Cliffhanger, Teases It Will Continue in Season 1

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Ending

For those who played and finished Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, chances are, the ending left you hanging. Now, for those who have yet to play it, but curious how it ends, well, sad to say, it really doesn’t, as the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League ending just teases how the game continues in Season 1.

If you don’t want to read anything about the game, I suggest not scrolling further, as it will talk a bit about the game’s ending or what happens after it.

Does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Have a Post-Credits Ending/Scene?

Short answer to this question is yes, there is one. After the ending and the credits roll, players will then see the image below teasing how the story will continue in Season 1.

There is also a cutscene commemorating Kevin Conroy’s passing (which we reported on before) and the role he played as Batman throughout the years, which some fans might find is a nice touch by the studio.

As you can see, players can expect new gear, new squad members and more as the game’s new season rolls around. While there’s no firm release date announced yet, we do know Season 1 will start this March thanks to the roadmap Rocksteady revealed last month.

For reference, here’s what’s confirmed to be incoming in Suicide Squad: KTJL Season 1:

Start Date: March 2024

  • The Joker as a New Playable Character
  • New Joker-Themed Playable Environment
  • Two Episodes with New Missions, Activities & Strongholds
  • New Boss Fights & Enemy Variants
  • New DC Villain-Themed Weapons & Gear
  • New Riddler Content

You can catch gameplay of The Joker as the new squad member right here. Players should also expect the game’s Battle Pass to kick off when Season 1 launches.

While Rocksteady Studios has publicly said that they don’t view their Suicide Squad game as a live service title, it sure seems to fit that pattern so far. Let’s hope each season has a better closure for players.
