In its full earnings report for fiscal year 2022-2023, Ubisoft has revealed that it is aiming to release Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile, Skull and Bones, XDefiant and even more titles during the current fiscal year (2023-2024). Additionally, owing to record levels of consumer engagement with the IP and strategic reprioritization, the company will increase the number of talents working on the Assassin’s Creed franchise by 40% in the next few years.

Having axed seven unannounced projects within the last 12 months, the French video game company has doubled down on its cost-cutting measures within the last year through further shuttering five offices in Europe and bringing its workforce to under 20,000 from 20,700 at the end of September 2022. Despite market performance “being in line” with its revised targets for the previous fiscal year, Ubisoft has still expressed a desire to push its smaller projects aside in favor of its most successful brands.

With Assassin’s Creed Valhalla achieving a 44% larger playerbase than Origins and a 19% larger playerbase than Odyssey in comparable post-launch time periods, Ubisoft plans to increase the amount of resources dedicated to the IP. The number of developers working on the franchise will be increased by 40% in the upcoming years, which is reasonable given the massive slate of Assassin’s Creed titles the company plans to deliver in the near future.

Additionally, Ubisoft revealed that the following lineup of its upcoming AAA titles are all slated to release during fiscal year 2023-2024:

  • Assassin’s Creed Mirage
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence
  • Skull and Bones
  • The Crew Motorfest
  • XDefiant

“Another large game” is also included in that lineup, though what it is has not been revealed yet. Further details about all these titles. will be revealed at Ubisoft Forward on June 12, which the company has confirmed within the financial report is still happening on June 12.
