Fallout 4 Update 1.43

Following the release of the Creations patch for Fallout 4 last week, Bethesda has released a new update for the RPG, and this brings fixes related to Creations.

Those on consoles, you’ll see this patch appear as Fallout 4 update 1.40/1.000.005, and this should be a small download. For the complete list of fixes in this hotfix, head on below.

Fallout 4 Receives New Update on November 17 That Brings Game Version to 1.40/1.000.005

Per Bethesda, the update today resolves the following issues:

  • Resolved an issue preventing users from enabling Creations that rely on DLC.
  • Improved stability in the Creation menu, particularly on PS4/XB1.
  • Identified an issue causing DLC to become uninstalled on PlayStation. For players still experiencing this issue, we recommend the following: Please enable any of your Creations after your DLC is completely installed.

Outside of the patch, Bethesda has also confirmed that there is a November patch in the works, and once that’s out, expect it here on MP1st.

In other Fallout news, the franchise’s live-service game, Fallout 76, will be getting the Burning Springs update this December, which will see Walton Goggins reprise his role as the Ghoul from the Fallout Amazon series.

I just updated and it didn’t work. I downloaded all my library and enabled my library. Loaded my new save lvl 1. Nothing there. No DLCs. Nothing.

Me either. Nothing. Got message when PS4 started up saying “database corrupt”. Then that it was rebuilding it, then the d/l of 1.40 supposed fix. After I dont know how long (ages) it seemed to kick in. I started the game got to the load menu and…….NOTHING! ZILCH! Just the same greyed out screen as if I never spent hard earned money on buying the season pass.

And the crap statement from Bethesda means nothing to me….Please enable your creations after you fully install your DLC…….WHAT!?

In ENGLISH please. I dont wanna have to do anything other than buy it and play it. Anyone interpret this please. And I mean step by step. I dont know how machines work and everything Ive watched or read so far about this supposed fix seems to assume we are all creators r computer whizzes. Much thanks in advance for any assistance.
