The event will run from October 8 to November 1, which gives plently of time for multiplayer horror fans to partake in the ghoulish festivities.

For the event details and changes made, read on for the official patch notes straight from Kinetic Games

Phasmophobia Crimson Eye 2026 Data Dragged by Patch 1.000.049

As with previous years’ events, the Crimson Eye will cast its presence across several locations in Phasmophobia. Playing on these locations will grant each player event points, working towards unlocking the Community and Personal rewards, details of which are below.

The following list of locations will be featured throughout the event:

  • 6 Tanglewood Drive
  • 42 Edgefield Road
  • Grafton Farmhouse
  • 13 Willow Street
  • Bleasdale Farmhouse
  • Point Hope (Standard only, Point Hope Restricted will not be included)
  • Camp Woodwind
  • Nell’s Diner

For those of you who have taken part in previous Crimson Eye events, you’ll know what to expect, but you’ll also get to see how Nell’s Diner and the reworked 6 Tanglewood Drive & 13 Willow Street look dressed in red. For newer Ghost Hunters, you’ll be tasked with hunting down Blood Moon totems and completing investigations and optional objectives to earn points, all while under the threat of Blood Moon weather, increasing the challenge you’ll face from ghosts.

Players will have several different unlockable rewards during the event: a seasonal event tee, the Beholder ID Card & Badge set and the Blood Moon charm.

Alongside these will be the upgradeable trophy. If you have previously unlocked this, you’ll continue to earn points and upgrades to your existing Trophy, rather than a new one.

During the event, we have a few different plans in place, so please do read on to learn what’s in store throughout October.

For the list of fixes made, read on.

New

  • Crimson Eye – The Crimson Eye is upon us, Ghost Hunters. Once more, various locations across Phasmophobia will be bathed in the red glow of the Blood Moon, offering any willing Ghost Hunter rewards in return for completing investigations, optional objectives and more.
  • Seasonal Event toggle – As a new feature for Crimson Eye and future seasonal events, we have implemented a toggle that allows players to turn on/off the event maps for their session.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the white light upon being revived to flash rather than slowly fade in and out.
  • Fixed an issue where an Easter Egg reward may not unlock, despite a 0x multiplier being active and the reward pop up being displayed.

There are still a handful of known issues left, so expect a hotfix to be released at some point latr this month.
