Assassin's Creed Mirage Release Date Moved Up by a Week, Game Has Hit Gold

The moment that all Assassin’s Creed fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Ubisoft just announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold, which means that development on the game is finished, and the master is ready to be distributed to stores. The studio is even quite happy to share with players that the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date was moved up by a week, from the original October 12 plan to the new October 5 date.

The great news was shared via the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter, with the nice symbol that you can see right below.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage puts players in the shoes of Basim, a major character that fans of the series have met during Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Mirage takes place several decades before the events of that game, in 9th Century Baghdad, and a playthrough may run for 20-30 hours depending on your playstyle.

Releasing for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, Assassin’s Creed Mirage may be the chapter prior to Assassin’s Creed Red, which is apparently slated to a 2024 launch.
