DICE has released an unannounced patch for Battlefield 2042! The Battlefield 2042 update 1.08 is out now on all platforms, and doesn’t add any new content, nor does it include any major gameplay-related changes. Read up on the Battlefield 2042 Feb. 3 patch notes below.

Here’s DICE’s announcement regarding the patch:

We’ve just made a small #Battlefield2042 hotfix available across all platforms to address areas of game instability that we’ve noticed after the release of Update #3.2.

In addition to that, Renewal is now back into the rotation for Xbox One, and PS4 gamers after being pulled due to instability issues.

As part of today's Hotfix, we have reactivated Renewal for players on Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, this map should now be back in the rotation.

That’s about it for this patch. If you’re disappointed that it didn’t include any gameplay-related changes, you’re not the only one. Speaking of which, EA admitted earlier this week that Battlefield 2042’s sales didn’t meet expectations. However, EA boss Andrew Wilson is confident that DICE can turn things around since they’ve done it “a number of times” already.
