Battlefield 6 Season 1 launch times

Battlefield 6 Season 1 has been officially revealed today with a new trailer, showing the new content coming for fans of the series made by Battlefield Studios and published by Electronic Arts.

The first season of Battlefield 6, titled “Rogue Ops,” launches on October 28, introducing new content in three phases. Each phase will introduce new content, aiming to keep player engagement high over time.

Battlefield 6 Gets New Maps, Modes, and More in First Season of Content

The highlight of the first phase is the new map, Blackwell Fields, featured in today’s trailer. Some players have already had a chance to try it during the Battlefield Labs testing phase.

Among the other Season 1 additions, there is the new Strikepoint mode, inspired by Call of Duty’s Search and Destroy and the competitive settings of Counter-Strike. It features two teams of four players battling it out without respawns.

The first season also brings new weapons, including the SOR-300 carbine, the Mini Fix sniper rifle, and the GGH-22 sidearm. In addition, a new armored vehicle, the APC, joins the game’s already extensive roster, providing fresh tactical mobility and support options.

Additionally, Battlefield 6 received a progression update in response to community feedback that the grind was too slow. The server-side update increased XP gains and significantly reduced the time needed to unlock weapon attachments and assignments

In other news, Battlefield 6 players believe parts of the campaign were cut after noticing missing scenes from trailers and early footage, leading to speculation about changes made during development. When it comes to multiplayer, the deadzone settings for controllers on PC and consoles are broken, and here’s proof of that.
