E3 2021: Square Enix, Bandai, Sega, and More Confirmed to Participate

E3 2021 is nearing, as the anticipated annual Electronic Event Expo announced new additions for this year’s digital showcase, introducing known Triple AAA game distributors such as Square Enix, Bandai, and Sega.

In a press release sent out today by the event handlers, the new additions are the following companies:

  • Square Enix
  • Sega
  • Bandai Namco
  • Xseed Games/Marvelous USA
  • Gearbox Entertainment
  • Freedom Games
  • Devious Eye Entertainment
  • Turtle Beach
  • Verizon
  • Binge.com

The list joins Nintendo, Microsoft, Capcom, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Koch Media in this year’s lineup, with Konami backing out from the event. All participating partners of the event are listed on their website.

“E3 2021 is set to continue its legacy as the premier video game industry event as we add new publishers, sponsors and partners” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA. “We can’t wait to share more details about this virtual event for audiences around the globe.”

E3 2021 will begin on June 12, 2021 – June 15, 2021. The four-day event will be completely digital as continued concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic still looms around the world. The scheduled activities will instead be live-streamed on chosen platforms.
