Fallout 76 down oct 21

While the Fallout 76 servers went down yesterday, it was due to the Amazon server situation that saw games like Fortnite, Palworld and more go down as well. Today, October 21, Bethesda has pulled the servers down intentionally and this is to apply an update.

For the Fallout 76 downtime details, head on below.

Fallout 76 Servers Offline Temporarily on October. 21 for an Update

Fallout 76 Update 1.99

Update: The complete patch notes for today’s update is live, which you can read right now to see the big list of fixes applied.

Per Bethesda, the downtime starts at 10 am ET/9 am CT/7 am PT/10 pm HKT. While the developers don’t say how long this will take, expect this to last for at least 3-4 hours or more. Usually, downtime ends at 1 pm ET/10 am PT/1 am HKT.

As for the update, this is a patch for bug fixes rather than delivering new content, so temper expectations. While the “mini season” starts today, the data for it should have been rolled out alongside the previous Camp Revamp major update if I’m not mistaken.

Speaking of major updates, the Burning Springs patch is set to drop the same time as Fallout’s Season 2 on Amazon. While contents of the patch remain a mystery, the developers did reveal that Walton Goggins will make an appearance in the game as The Ghoul!

Expect the article to link out to the patch notes once it’s available. If anything changes regarding the downtime, we’ll update the article to reflect the changes.
