It seems Ubisoft has stealth-released the Far Cry 5 update 1.16 patch this July 21! Those hoping for new content or for PS5 upgrades, you’re in for a disappointment, as there’s none of that.
Far Cry 5 Update 1.16 for July 21:
This is what’s showing up on the PS4 update history:
Trial mode is now available for events and promotions.
As for the latest game in the franchise, Far Cry 6, there’s a new trailer featuring the Season Pass and some cinematic action. There’s also a Far Cry anime headed to Netflix, which you can read about here.
Checking the community, it seems there is no PS5 60 frames-per-second support added, sadly.
If you spot any gameplay-related or techincal fixes in this patch, let us know what you find down in the comments below.

There is a chance that we will get an update on PS5 that will support 60 fps? Today I purchased the game and terrible how it run… without discount I think its a little bit expensive, so for this money we could deserve 60fps on the new consoles..
