The Fortnite 50v50 v2 mode has been delayed due to the account service issues that caused the game to be down for the majority of yesterday. Instead of the new 50v50 v2 mode, players will get to once again experience the Solid Gold limited time mode.
Epic Games’ JustMooney1 explained the problems leading to the Fortnite 50v50 v2 mode delay on Reddit:
You may have seen information or even a video about the 50v50 v2 Limited Time Mode going live today. Due to the account service issues we’ve been experiencing, and in order to preserve your play experience this weekend, we will be delaying it to next week.
We want you to be able to play Fortnite, and can’t wait to get this mode into your hands ASAP!
Are you happy with playing the Fortnite Solid Gold limited time mode instead? Let us know.
In other Fortnite news, the game’s April Fool’s Day event was subtle yet fun, there’s a Boogie Down contest that rewards players with their own custom in-game emote, and Epic Games is considering adding a Gun Game mode.
