GTA 6 File Size, Review Embargo Lift Revealed
It’s finally happening: Grand Theft Auto 6 is really going to be released next month, as the game is said to be already in the hands of some reviewers (not us, sorry!).
With that in mind, some might be curious how big the game is, given it’s not only showcasing cutting-edge visuals, but there are tons of dialogue, and of course, a massive open world that only Rockstar can deliver.
Today, we now know how big the game will actually be — at least on PS5, and when reviews are supposed to drop.
GTA 6 Will Be Massive As Expected
While we’ve heard that the size is around 204 GB, PlayStation Game Size has confirmed that it is 210 GB on both Xbox Series X|S and PS5 | PS5 Pro.
Pre-load starts on November 12, with the game’s release kicking off on November 19 where your account is based.
In addition to that, reliable leaker NateTheHate has mentioned that the review embargo lifts on November 18. Unfortunately, there’s no actual time connected to it for now.

While Sony released a new system update on PS5 recently to combat a known exploit, don’t be surprised if we receive another one before GTA 6’s release; this is the biggest game release in recent memory, after all.
In related news, Rockstar has confirmed that players will be able to explore “hundreds of interior spaces” n the game.
GTA 6 is set for release on November 19 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and it’s rumored the PC version will be released in Q1 2027.
