New Fatal Fury Game Announced After Over 20 Years, Teaser Trailer Strikes Out
EVO 2022 made some promises of having some surprise announcements in store for attendees, and on its second day, that certainly has come true, as after over 20 years, we are finally getting a new Fatal Fury game!
Following the Evo 2022 King of Fighters 15 finals, SNK took to the stage for one last surprise, that being that the studio has been greenlit to develop a brand new Fatal Fury game! No details concerning platforms, release date, or even an official name were shared, though they did share that this would be a sequel in the franchise as well as giving us a short 30-second video showing off what appears to be concept art for the new title. Here, have a watch!
Fatl Fury Game Teaser Trailer | Garou Teaser Trailer
Originally debuting back in 1994, Fatal Fury has had a number of releases, eventually leading to it’s final, Garou: Mark of the Wolve, in 1999. Since then, the IP itself hasn’t seen any new games though its characters have been seen throughout the successful King of Fighter franchise since. Hopefully we’ll hear more about the title later this year, though considering the team is using this as a “greenlight” announcement, we likely won’t be hearing about it anytime soon.
With that being said, what are you all hoping to see in this new Fatal Fury game? Let us know down below!
